NFL Cat Names, Names After American Football Players

NFL cat names are a great pick if football Sundays are sacred in your house and your kitten treats the living room like a tiny gridiron. American football is the most-watched sport in the United States, and the NFL has given us legends whose names sound just as good called across a backyard as they do in a stadium. These names are bold, crisp and full of team spirit.

For cat-loving households, NFL cat names come from the league's greatest players. Brady, after Tom Brady, suits a calm, composed tom who plays the long game. Manning, for the Manning family of quarterbacks, fits a smart, strategic cat who watches everything. Gronk, after Rob Gronkowski, works for a big, playful tom who crashes through toys. Deion, after Deion Sanders, is perfect for a fast, flashy kitten. Montana, after Joe Montana, suits a cool, confident cat who stays calm in chaos. Each NFL cat name honors a real football great.

Say your NFL cat names out loud on game day, the right one should feel natural when you cheer or call your cat for treats. Short last names usually work best as daily call names.
