Liho
Comic 2014 · Black Widow (Marvel Comics)
A wary former stray who warms slowly to one trusted person. Quiet, watchful, and stubbornly independent, much like the spy who took her in.
Short summary: The black cat adopted by Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in the comics, introduced in Black Widow (Vol. 5) #1 (2014) by Nathan Edmondson and Phil Noto. A stray that lingered near Natasha because of the attention she paid it, Liho is named for the Slavic personification of misfortune and bad luck — an ironic, self-deprecating choice from a spy who insisted at first that the cat was not hers, then quietly let it into her apartment and even brought it along when she went on the run.
