The Snowshoe is a rare breed of cat originating in the United States of America in the 1960s. In color it is basically a pointed cat overlaid with a very precise white spotting pattern featuring four even white boots and a white "inverted V" shaped nose marking. Snowshoes are generally affectionate, sweet-tempered, and mellow. They enjoy the company of humans and being given attention, and are compatible with children and other pets.
